A slightly sweet, slightly nostalgic,
dazzling spring moment
llustrator Hanamoto Tomoko's solo exhibition "Honey Moment" will be held at Popularity GALLERY & STUDIO in TOKYO Gaienmae from Tuesday, April 8th to Sunday, April 13th, 2025.
Hanamoto Tomoko, who is active in a wide range of fields such as advertising, fashion magazines, packaging and displays, will present new works for the first time in two years. Approximately 50 original drawings will invite you to "sweet moments" in your daily life.
In addition, this time, a new animation work will be screened. The images that flow on the screen, sometimes rhythmically, sometimes gracefully, weave the story drawn by Hanamoto Tomoko. Please come to the venue and enjoy this special experience.

A slightly sweet and nostalgic spring moment with casual scenes of people, rooms, flowers, etc. This exhibition features new illustrations and animations that depict dazzling moments in everyday life and beautiful moments that you can't take your eyes off of, slowing down the speed and drawing them with a gaze that seems to stop time.
In this exhibition, each work is looped between the past and the future, and alternately connected as scenes that unfold simultaneously in different places, creating a sense of tension and realism that moves between reality and memory, enveloping the entire gallery.

Profile
Hanamoto Tomoko / Illustrator
Graduated from Chiba University. His works are characterized by his original paper cuttings with coloring and drawings. He is active in a wide range of fields, including advertising, fashion magazines, packaging, displays, and videos. He has worked on many advertisements for Cassina IXC, Mitsukoshi Isetan, Takashimaya, Atre, and fashion magazines such as FIGARO japon and SPUR. He also has a wealth of experience in corporate catalogs and book cover illustrations. Through collaborations with brands, he is involved in a wide range of projects such as products, logos, and packaging. In addition to client work, he pursues his own unique expressions and presents his works at solo and group exhibitions.
